Yes, you got me I am a pokemon fan. This past weekend I watched a ton of old episodes, You know what I learned, when you are a kid you are less cynical, everything works just fine. Remember watching these shows, and everything made sense, no problems with their logic, team rocket basting off was funny?
Watch them now, you start to realize just how many suggestive things they say, all the time. My title just made me laugh, a close second for funniest was "The last time I saw this many strange letters was after I posted a personal ad". You start to wonder why team rocket isn't ever hurt after falling an ungodly distance and crashing into the ground at terminal velocity. When they aren't using it where the hell is their hot air balloon? Why don't they use it to go over the mountain? Why don't they quit team rocket and start a business, they'd probably have better luck.
You ask yourself how so many characters can be so dense and still be alive. And how the adept characters in the series are always foiled by the less than brilliant opponents they are set against.
I love pokemon to this day, but as an adult I no longer can take it as a whimsical world where logic here fails every once in a while and accept it for what it is, and what it used to be for me, a kids TV show.

Hey! I'm back.
So my life went crazy for a while. I discovered that I had a competition this past Saturday for rock climbing so I had to train and get lots of other stuff done. So now I have a couple seconds to say hello and give you my dinner from a few nights ago (actually more like a week ago..) I had leftover pumpkin from a pie I made over the weekend, and didn't want more pie (there was soo much pie) So I made up this because I was sort of on a sugar high that entire weekend...
Pumpkin Soup
Add about a table spoon of vegetable oil to the bottom of the pan, once it's heated up add about 1 minced onion, size doesn't matter, so don't get to caught up with that. Once it goes translucent add about 3 cloves of garlic, also minced. cook until the onions just start to caramelize. Once you finish that Remove about half of the onions and set aside. Add a 15oz can of a can of pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling, it should be just pumpkin) to the pan you used to cook the onions. Add a bit of chicken stock to thin it out Again there is no set recipe, I just added it until it seemed right. Using thyme, cayenne pepper, black pepper and salt, season to taste. Allow this to come to a boil, then reduce the heat and allow it to simmer for about 30 minutes. Remove it from the pan and pour it into a blender, Blend the mixture until it is smooth. Put the pumpkin mix back into your pan and add half and half to taste. gently heat until the soup is hot and serve.
You don't need much of this, it's extremely rich, goes very well with a basic preparation of chicken. I used the onion and a bit of olive oil to cook my chicken and served it alongside the soup, but it's up to you.
Enjoy, and next time I'll post up my costume exploits (this could get funny to read...)

Alright I'm Stacy, and this is my humble blog. Basically it has no common thread. It just is. I will post my costuming exploits, at least what I am allowed to reveal... my friend and roommate has an equal vote to what goes on in that department since a lot of our stuff is paired, or for a large group, and together we are their leaders. It will have my exploits in the kitchen, probably with the oven mostly (mini-pumpkin pies, delicious btw). But I happen to be a very good cook on a budget, good food, little pricetag. And my gaming exploits while playing will be here (if you want to see my reviews go to leet and luscious which I co-author with Katie and Viktoria.
So that's what this is, now a bit more about your resident blogger. I am a Sophomore 2 credits shy of junior standing. I am a chemistry major with a minor in music (random, I know.) I like to blow stuff up, hence the chemistry (jk) I just love that chemistry is so versatile, I can do anything I want with that major. Music because I love it, but don't know what to do with it other than teach (which my friends assure my would be a bad idea, well all but one...) I am currently dating I think, but my knowledge when it comes to that area is minimal... so yeah I am sort of clueless when it comes to relationships. Anyways that's me in a very short nutshell...
